Dr. Brandon Litzner

Dr. Brandon Litzner grew up in Wichita, KS. He graduated from Wichita State University where he briefly played collegiate baseball. He attended medical school at Vanderbilt University and was awarded the Founder’s medal upon graduation. He completed an intern year at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX and subsequently completed his dermatology residency at University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas, TX, where he was a chief resident during his final year. He completed a dermatopathology fellowship at Saint Louis University. 

He currently practices dermatology and dermatopathology in Wichita, KS with Heartland Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center. He has authored 19 peer-reviewed articles. He is actively involved in the American Society of Dermatopathology, and he received a presidential citation for his work with the Appropriate Use Committee. He is the site director of the Kansas Access Track residency and is on faculty with St. Louis University and University of Kansas-Wichita. He is actively involved in educating dermatology and family medicine residents and medical students.
