Salmen, MD

Natasha Salmen was raised in the small Appalachian town of Columbiana, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Youngstown State University before completing her Doctor of Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). She matched into dermatology at the University of Vermont Medical Center, where she plans to continue advancing community outreach initiatives to improve access to dermatologic care for rural populations.

 

Following residency, Natasha hopes to return to her hometown to provide dermatologic care and help bridge the gap in specialty access across rural Appalachia. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, reading, exploring new coffee shops, traveling with her family, and spending time with her three cats.
